3.23.2020 Ask for God's Intervention

Divine intervention, quite simply put, is when God steps in and changes the outcome of a situation. Basically, divine intervention is another way of saying ‘miracle.’ People point to divine intervention when there is no other explanation other than God for how something turned out. Miraculous healing, people being in the right place at the right time, circumstances that protected someone from harm’s way are all examples of Divine Intervention.

Divine Intervention in the Bible

There are many stories in the Bible that are perfect examples of ‘Divine Intervention.’ One of the more notable would be when God parted the red sea. Moses being rescued from the reeds would definitely qualify. But in reality, God ordains everything. Everything that happens, He has allowed to happen. Everything. He knows the outcome of every situation.

And yet, these miraculous examples of divine intervention are still important. Because they serve as reminders of His power. THERE ARE MANY MORE IN THE BIBLE!

A Prayer for Divine Intervention Isaiah 63:7-9

7 I will tell of the faithful acts of the Lord, of the Lord's praiseworthy deeds. I will tell about all the Lord did for us, the many good things he did for the family of Israel (put your family’s name), because of his compassion and great faithfulness. 8 He said, "Certainly they will be my people, children who are not disloyal." He became their deliverer. 9 Through all that they suffered, he suffered too. The messenger (angel)sent from his very presence delivered them. In his love and mercy he protected them; he lifted them up and carried them throughout ancient times (& today!).

PRAYER FOR TODAY: Heavenly Father, we ask you to send the world Divine Intervention today to stop the spread of the coronavirus, and to bring speedy healing to those who are afflicted or have tested positive. We STAND WITH YOU, believing, that You desire to bring healing to mankind if we would only ask for and believe that YOU ARE THE DIVINE HEALER! Praise you, thank you, and now we trust in YOU!
