3.21.2020-Words of Encouragement

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ! I want to send words of encouragement each day and prayer suggestions, so here goes: We come into God's Presence with thankfulness and I like to say, as David did.."Bless the Lord, O my soul--and ALL that is within me--bless His Holy Name! Then I go on to proclaiming: This is the day the Lord has made--I will rejoice and be glad in it!" Today's reading is Isaiah 43:1-7. Where it says "Oh, Jacob" or "Oh, Israel". Put your name there instead! "This is what the Lord says, He who created you, O Bill (for example) He who formed you, O Delores, fear not for I have redeemed you!" Redeemed means "bought back! Saved! Christ Rescued you!" And it goes on for eternity. That doesn't mean we won't go through some difficult times--but He will be right there to go through it with us. "I will never leave or forsake you". "I have embedded you in the palm of my hand--no one can steal you from me!" Every day say these words, "I plead the blood of Christ over My husband and I, our families (I name them by name), close friends, Vernes Family, and whoever the Holy Spirit brings to your mind. I continue with "Lord, cover each one I've named with your Blood--and our vehicles, homes, finances, professions, ministries And EVERYONE we have influence with! Protect us from all disease, distress, plagues and fear. Keep us under the shelter of your wings Lord! I put my trust in you." You May ask him to increase your faith, and every day ask Him to Fill You With the Holy Spirit!" Then thank Him and rejoice! A merry heart works like a medicine! May God bless you and yours today! Feel free to call or text anytime--I am here for you as your Pastor and friend! Pr. Jill
